Re: Question - Comparability for OpenMW, TES3MP, Bare Necessities, & Rebirth

No. I haven't made any attempt to use it with anything other than the original Morrowind engine. I was, however, notified by the staff at OpenMW that one of my scripts was using a function with one too many arguments, which apparently the original Morrowind engine ignored, but was causing theirs to ...

Re: Merry Christmas MkII

Unfortunately, no. The problem is the way the items created by the mod are stored by the mod internally. The construction set changes the very complicated internal numbering system into something more readable for the people making the mod, but those internal numbers are the source of serious proble...

Re: QTA - Redoran Run

Mudcrab Pests: <snip> - Quest reward is kinda lame. I'm thinking the should give the player some kind of heirloom instead, perhaps a protective charm of some kind. Thoughts? Ideas? Deliver Cure Disease Potion: <snip> - Quest reward: currently none! If I'm going to make the player lug half a dozen p...

Re: Merry Christmas MkII

And now, due to the recent release of TR v16.08, here is yet another version of the MC 3.0 alpha MC3 Early Alpha for TR 16.08.zip Fliggerty has found and corrected the error which was preventing me from replacing the lost attachment, so once again we have the 16.08 version available for download. Re: Merry Christmas MkII

A number of the changes affect the original equipment (such as the placement scripts and the uninstall options), so for the items that you could make in MC 2.1, you can just make them like normal and test them. However, for the items that didn't exist in 2.1, you'll have to use the console to give y...

Re: Merry Christmas MkII

The previous version was completely flummoxed with the change to 1.6, so I can only assume that a new revision will be just as likely to screw up. [edit] After doing some more checking, it appears that the whole issue may be a semantic one. It seems that the TR team has simply changed the way they r...

Re: Possible new MWSE GUI

Actually, far more has already been implemented as of the available download. However, since the actual scripts for selecting and creating the new items haven't been written, you have to use the console to give yourself the new items for testing. That was actually the intended purpose of the early a...

Making the prison barge unique

Due to certain mods re-using items associated with the prison barge in Seyda Neen, a few incompatibilities have arisen, particulary with OpenMW. OpenMW searches for references to objects in non-loaded cells, while the Vanilla MW engine does not. Not only is this an important distinction, but one of ...
